We understand that people want information on when they can receive the vaccine. Fulton County is part of the Mohawk Valley Regional network and is not scheduling public appointments for vaccine at this time. The supply for vaccine is not as high as the demand is at this time. The process to vaccinate all individuals will take months.
If you are an eligible New Yorker based on 1a and 1b, you may schedule an appointment online or by calling the New York State’s call center at 1-833-NYS-4-VAX (1-833-697-4829). To determine if you are eligible, you may visit https://am-i-eligible.covid19vaccine.health.ny.gov/. Please know that Fulton County Public Health is listed, but is not scheduling appointments at this time. You may put in a larger radius for sites and are eligible to go to any site that has availability. As vaccine becomes available to distribute, registration will be made public to assist people in signing up. Again, please do not call Fulton County Public Health for a vaccine appointment at this time. Please be patient and use the link above to register at sites with vaccine availability.
At this time, remember even with vaccine distribution, people need to continue to wear face masks, social distance, and wash your hands frequently.
Thank you and we will get through this together.

About vaccines:
- None of the COVID-19 vaccines currently authorized for use in the United States uses the live virus that causes COVID-19. You may have symptoms like a fever after you get a vaccine. This is normal and a sign that your immune system is learning how to recognize and fight the virus that causes COVID-19. Learn more about the facts behind COVID-19 vaccines: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/facts.html
Vaccine Benefits:
- Your best protection from COVID-19 will be a combination of getting a COVID-19 vaccine, wearing a mask, staying at least 6 feet away from others, avoiding crowds, and washing your hands often. No one tool alone is going to stop the pandemic. Learn about the benefits of COVID-19 vaccination so you’ll be ready when a vaccine is recommended: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/about-vaccines/vaccine-benefits.html
Vaccine Safety:
- Safety is a top priority while federal partners work to make COVID-19 vaccines available. Safety is considered before any vaccine before any vaccine is recommended for use. Learn more about how CDC and its partners are ensuring the safety of COVID-19 vaccines: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/safety.html
