Replicating
an old Adirondack style rail
road, the Fulton County Visitor Center was built
and completed in 2001. It sits proudly at
the busiest intersection in Fulton County at New
York State Routes 29 and 30. Our Visitor has
grown in attendance from an annual 3000 guests in
our previous Visitor Center back in the year 2000
to 13,000 annual visitors today.
The Fulton
County Visitor Center is open year-round.
During the peak summer tourism season (Memorial
Day-Columbus Day), the hours of daily operation
are Friday-Monday 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and
Tuesday-Thursday 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. In May
prior to Memorial Day and in October after
Columbus Day the hours are Friday-Monday 10:00
a.m.-4:00 p.m. For the months of November-April,
operation hours are Saturday and Sunday 10:00
a.m.-4:00 p.m. We’re open during most
holidays with the exception of Thanksgiving,
Christmas, and New Year’s Day.
