Supervisors BREH AND ARGOTSINGER offered the following Resolution and moved its adoption:

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A TRANSFER OF FUNDS TO PURCHASE A DNA EXAM FOR AN UNIDENTIFIED BODY CASE FROM 2015 (SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT)

WHEREAS, the Sheriff has requested a transfer of $5,000.00 from the Sheriff’s Office Contractual account to purchase a DNA Exam for an unidentified body case from 2015; now, therefore be it

RESOLVED, That upon the recommendation of the Sheriff and Committees on Public Safety and Finance, the Sheriff be and hereby is authorized to purchase a DNA Exam for an unidentified body case from 2015 in an amount not to exceed $5,000.00; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That the County Treasurer be and hereby is directed to make the following transfers:

From: A.3110.3110-4130 – EXP – Contractual

To: A.3110.3110-4090 – EXP – Professional Services

Sum: $5,000.00

and, be it further 

RESOLVED, That certified copies of this Resolution be forwarded to the County Treasurer, Sheriff, Budget Director/County Auditor and Administrative Officer/Clerk of the Board.
