ASSIGNED COUNSEL ADMINISTRATOR (PART-TIME)

 

The Fulton County Board of Supervisors is accepting applications from qualified attorneys for the Part-Time position of Assigned Counsel Administrator.  The position is a Department Head with primary responsibility for management of the Fulton County Assigned Counsel Program to provide legal defense representation to indigent clients.

Minimum Qualifications

The successful candidate will be an attorney licensed to practice law in New York State with experience of at least five (5) years, including strong knowledge of criminal defense law procedure.  Responsibilities include budget preparation, grants administration and supervising the caseloads of attorneys participating in the assigned counsel panel.

Appointments to the post of Assigned Counsel Administrator will be made by the Board of Supervisors.
Salary range is $49,000.00 to $53,000.00 per year commensurate with qualifications and experience for a part-time work-week of 17 hours per week.
