COUNTY ASSISTANCE For assistance filing an application, gaining on-line access, understanding the documents needed or other assistance please call the Fulton County Department of Social at the designated message line at 518-736-5519.

You can expect a call back within 24 hours on work days. Questions can also be emailed to fulton-erap@dfa.state.ny.us.

    It will operate 7 days a week from 8:00 am until 7:00 pm the first few weeks.

  • Rabies Clinic to be held on Wednesday, November 3rd, 2021 from 5:30 to 7pm at 2714 State Highway 29, Johnstown NY (at the County Services Complex behind the Public Health building).

Pets that can receive a rabies vaccination include: dogs, cats and ferrets. Dogs must be leashed to attend. Cats and ferrets must be in a carrier or box.

Appointments are by pre-registration ONLY! Registration begins October 20th, 2021. To pre-register call Fulton County Public Health at 518-736-5720.

 

  • DMV will open without Appointments starting Tuesday July 6th,  2021, 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM for Fulton County residents only and still must social distance in accordance with CDC rules. Customers are still urged to make use of the drop box in front of building for their work.

  • Public input is needed for the Fulton County Hazard Mitigation Plan. Please visit the Fulton County Hazard Mitigation Plan Survey for more details. 

  • The New York State of Health has mandated that pharmacies be the primary source of vaccine for senior citizens 65 years of age and older. The following local pharmacies have reported vaccine availability in recent weeks:
    • CVS Pharmacy
    • Kinney's Drugs
    • Palmer's Pharmacy
    • Price Chopper Pharmacy
    • Rite Aid
    • Walgreens

  • The Fulton County Treasurer's Office is now accepting online payments. Please go to the Treasurer page to make your online payment.

  • Vision 2026 Strategy has been released.
