National Walking Day is every year on the first Wednesday in April. National Walking Day is exactly as it sounds – a day to celebrate the easiest way to be the healthiest version of you. Walking for thirty to sixty minutes per day may sound like it isn’t much, but studies have shown that it can drastically improve your health and even help prevent ailments such as type II diabetes, cancer, and heart disease.

International Women's Day is a global holiday celebrated annually on March 8 as a focal point in the women's rights movement, bringing attention to issues such as gender equality, reproductive rights, and violence and abuse against women.

Spurred on by the universal female suffrage movement, International Women's Day originated from labor movements in North America and Europe during the early 20th century.

Celebrated on February 15, Susan B Anthony Day marks the birthday of one of the United States' most prominent female civil rights leaders. Susan B Anthony Day is a legal observance in some states including California, Florida, New York and Wisconsin. (Massachusetts observes in August and West Virginia in November.)
