The Treasurer's Office accepts Online Payments for the Following ONLY:
City of Gloversville County Property Tax beginning January 1
City of Gloversville City Tax beginning December 1
Delinquent School Tax: Gloversville, Johnstown beginning Dec 1
Delinquent School Tax: Amsterdam beginning June
Delinquent Town Taxes at the end of April
NOTE: We DO NOT collect the City of Johnstown taxes.
How Payments can be made:
Online Payments: by ECHECK, CREDIT CARD AND DEBIT CARD for the following (fees may apply- ECHECK is the most economical when paying online).
Payments by Mail: check, certified funds or money orders to Fulton County Treasurer. P.O. Box 128, Johnstown, NY 12095. (express mail:223 W. Main St., Johnstown, NY 12095). DO NOT send cash through the mail.
In Person Payments: Credit Card, Debit Card, Check, Certified Funds, Money Order, Cash
Helpful information when paying your taxes:
All town bills are collected by local town tax collectors through March 31. Contact your local collector for their collection procedures.
Beginning April 1, town collectors will return any unpaid taxes to the County Treasurer’s Office.
Current County taxes cannot be paid during the first two weeks of April during transition period. Contact the Treasurer’s Office during the last week of April for current amount due.
To avoid payment delays, please be sure to submit the correct amount due from your bill.

NOVEMBER 1ST- 30TH NON-PAYMENT PERIOD
December 1st collections begin at Treasurer's Office
June 1st- Village Tax
Payments from June 1st - Oct. 31st Village Collectors
Village Tax relevied on next County Bill, NO PAYMENTS accepted after October 31st.
Sept. 1st - School Tax
Payments from Sept. 1st - Oct. 31st. School Tax Collectors.
November 1st Town schools are relevied on next County Bill
City Schools Dec. 1st collections begin at Treasurer's Office.
We do accept credit cards through MAB Payments.
We also accept cash, personal checks, money orders and cashier checks.
We offer installment agreements once a year in May, to eligible taxpayers.
Letters are sent out in April to qualified residential property owners who are delinquent on their property taxes.
