EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS

The events of September 11, 2001 placed terrorism in the forefront of all Emergency Preparedness planning. As a result, emergency planning is here to stay as a part of the Public Health system.

Through federal grant funding, Fulton County Public Health has formulated and will continue to develop the Public Health Emergency Response Plan.

Emergency Planning has greatly impacted the total operation of Public Health and challenges every employee at some level. Emergency planning and testing the plans with drills and exercises will continue to be a function of Public Health as we strive to be aware and prepared to protect the health of all Fulton County residents!

Fulton County Public Health has developed an Emergency Preparedness folder with Emergency contact numbers and information on how to create your family emergency plan and kit.

The folder is available to all Fulton County residents at the Fulton County Public Health office.
